Cams on the way

Just got a call from the pro shop. The cam was ordered. From the sounds of it I'll just be waiting on my string to come in. It's going to take a little bit longer because I changed the black to white and they didn't have any in stock. Nice bit of good news this afternoon.

Mild Relief Today

I took my bow into the shop and there appears to be no damage to the limbs. I collected the money for my web site that I built and was able to order a new bowstring today. I'm going to add a little color and go with Black and Blue. Hopefully it looks good and I'll be shooting again in a couple of weeks.

Broke the golden rule

And dry fired my bow this afternoon! I was attempting to do a little maintenance, drew back with my fingers even through my release was right next to me. Now, I'm out of a bow for awhile. Hopefully the new cam and string isn't too much and the radio station I've designed the website for is pleased with my work. This just sucks because I switched to 100 grain points and was getting it dialed back in. I'm so mad at myself right now.

Waiting....

I can't stand waiting, whether it's for the Cabela's order that will be here Tuesday, draw results which will post in May or even the Mac and Cheese I'm currently cooking now. I know that as a bowhunter that patience is key, so I have a lot of work to do in that aspect. Luckily I have until August at the earliest to practice my patience.
